I visited today with my son for breakfast and I have to say it was one of the best, if not THE best breakfasts I have had. Absolute credit to the chef and staff. My son had the American pancakes and said these were also superb. I should note I have visited here before and sampled the BLT which was also great, my daughter tells me the scones are excellent too, coming a close second behind her mums!
We had a lovely breakfast, although a little slow. However it would be great if the staff occasionally smile or be welcoming. On arrival, a smile and welcome, rather than feeling we've ruined somebody's day by our arrival. To be honest, that set the time for the whole visit. I don't understand, serving lots of people well cooked, good quality ingredients is the tricky bit, not the smiling at customers

The Barn is an extremely good place to eat and great coffee. The staff are wonderful particularly Cameron who is extremely considerate , polite and knowledgable. Cameron has served us many times and we have really enjoyed our time in the cafe.
