Pubs in Waltham Abbey

“Very nice food here. I had the fish and chips with homemade tartare sauce and mushy peas. Excellent fresh quality cod. My friends had the pie, steak, ribs, liver and piri chicken and were not disappointed. The price you pay is higher than normal but the quality is there and the portions are generous. We will be coming here again.”

“We highly recommend this venue for a party venue. We had our wedding reception here and it was fantastic. Ellie and the team were very accommodating to all our ideas and really helped make our day stress free, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. We regularly go for lunch too and the food is very reasonable and tastes great. It’s a family favourite of ours. Thank you to all at The Queens Head for always making us feel at home and for all your help to make our wedding day a special one.”

“Visited for Lunch with friends around 12.30 wasn't very busy but it is a Thursday. Friendly staff and quick service, the cheese and bacon burgers were very nice well cooked, presented and hot unfortunately my friend had ordered a jacket potato with tuna which was obviously left over from a previous day and re heated which was pretty bad actually was dark dry and tough, the staff were very apologetic and because she didn't want anything else gave her a full refund so apart from that disappointing potato a very nice place to visit...let me add previous visits have been faultless so will definitely go back again.”
