Westcliff-on-Sea best kept secret. Amazing decor, very cozy that is complimentary by soft jazz playing . Food was amazing. A great selection of teas. Owner is very warm and welcoming.

Absolutely lovely atmosphere and service is great.Not a fan of anything on the menu since the chef changed but that's on me and I primarily come in for cake and coffee anyway, of which is absolutely lovely. There's also a rotating menu which I need to look out for! Definitely would

What a happy find in Southend. Very good coffee, one of the better plates of shakshuka I’ve had anywhere. And friendly to go with it. Highly recommended!

Anke’s has a lovely atmosphere, the food and cakes are all delicious, and the range of teas and coffee makes it a perfect place to meet up and catch up. In the evenings there are often musicians or activities, such as art classes and board games.
