Have just got home from a lovely afternoon with friends, where we all had the roast dinner's, with all the trimmings. Cooked beautifully, fresh vegetables, homemade Yorkshire puds, cripsy roast potatoes and parsnips. My only critique would be, portion size. just an extra potato or two would do it. Excellent service. Staff all friendly and helpful. Sadly no photos of the food as we'd finished before we realised. But the christmas decs were impressive
Lovely place, christmas decorations up, friendly staff and fantastic food !!!, 20% off all food when produncing palace theatre tickets. Our party had the fish and chips, (huge piece of fish), the chicken breast with stuffing and cranberry mayo burger, i had the cumberland butchers sausages, with onions, peas and mash and it was lush, highly recomended.

Great food, lovely service, and I loved the music as well, very nice to listen to while enjoying a meal.It's like a pub, but upgraded to classy decor and hearty, but refined, food.Going back as soon as I find the time.
