“I stopped in on a visit from Philadelphia (in town for a wedding) and it was a really nice treat! Great iced latte and the service couldn’t have been better or friendlier. Even the other customers (2 and 4 legged) were very friendly. I will have to try to go back again before I leave the area on Friday.”

British • “My friends and I booked a pre theatre meal here not really knowing what to expect and we can honestly say this is our new place to eat. We all had fish and chips which was absolutely delicious as well as piping hot. Desserts were varied but we all were amazed by the large portion sizes, including the ice cream. Toby ,our server was an absolute credit to the restaurant ,with his attentive service, helpfulness and friendly personality. We asked if Sangria was available and although it wasn't on the drinks list 2 jug fulls appeared at our table as they kindly made it up for us and was actually the best we've ever tasted.”

British • “I have been Isla previously for a Roast, I went with my 2 little girls and friend and I couldn’t wait to go back. The food was absolutely unreal and the staff were super friendly and helpful. My daughters loved it as much as we did! So I went back with my boyfriend and children and the food was spot on again, lots of choices for drinks too. So clean in there and spacious. It is honestly one of the best places myself and boyfriend have been for a roast and we are always eating out! Will be back plenty more times for food and definitely a night out there! Xx”

“came for dinner tonight and not only was the food absolutely delicious but the atmosphere and the staff were brilliant. made to feel very welcome, the staff were very helpful especially our server David! He even made sure the chilli con carne 2as extra spicy at my request, food was amazing and great size portions 5* recommend”

“The lovely man behind the counter, I think he may be the boss. Sweet man, it was our first time at the cafe and he explained to us what the different assorted Portuguese cutlets was. We got the pork breaded cutlet and it was so good we came back, sat in and tried the other ones! The mocha was 10/10!”
