Lovely local pub lots of welcoming regulars. Pool table, darts, dominoes and chat. Friendly staff. One quiet bar the other busy with music and pool.

Only discovered this lovely pub because it appeared in the Flitch Line Ale Trail booklet. You need to head out of town along some quaint old streets and past the church to find this pub. Make sure to include it if you are following the trail, it's the best in Witham for real ale and character.Inside it's arranged as two traditional rooms with the bar in the middle, pool table etc. A really nice pub with a great local astrosphere. The beer is excellent and there were some decent ales on tap to choose from. We had a friendly welcome from the landlord and a chat about other CAMERA pubs in Witham. Great place.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space indoors.

Remarkably cheap price for a Fosters (£3.30), the cheapest i believe in Witham, 95% sure bar 'spoons'. This price has risen by less than a pound in over 10 years wheras some pubs have doubled in just a couple. Does tend to have an older set of customers. The most 'old fashioned' pub in Witham, which is not a bad thing

Great traditional pub with a very friendly landlord.
