We've stayed here before and enjoyed ourselves. The hotel is set right in the centre of Witham with plenty of shops and takeaways nearby. The building is an old coaching inn so a bit creaky and rickety but full of character. The room was well equipped, warm and comfortable. They serve an excellent breakfast. I recently had a short stay at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable, small double in the room I was given, even though I had ordered a single room. The room was kept clean daily, and having breakfast included was a nice touch. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which added to the positive experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
