Asked for a table of 6 was turned away then asked for two table for 3 and they turned us away rudely. Poor manners.Edit - Don't have a problem with them having no room to accommodate us. Problem was the way they shooed us away without any respect with total arrogance when we asked for table of 3s.

Had a very lovely lunch here with my gf, had a Great experience, some absolutely beautiful beer, very clean facilities and a nice atmosphere. The restaurant was full but we were given a table in the bar which was nice of them to offer instead of turning us away. Very fast to get the food out , tasted delicious and was very very filling. I Definitely recommend coming to this place for a lunch. The building is so charming from the exterior aswell.

Stopped in for refreshments on a damp January morning and was pleasantly surprised. We were a party of 5 adults (one in a wheelchair) and 2 children. We all had different meals and everything was amazing. We had a lovely family meal in a lovely atmosphere. They even opened a section of restaurant for us to accommodate the wheelchair and assistants dog (Ocho). Will definitely visit again in the summer.

Right on the river opposite the motoring museum,this location is perfect for those wishing to visit the picture postcard bourton on the water with the stone bridges literally outside the door,now a pub and restaurant with lovely staff and attentive waitors that also comes at a reasonable price I would stay here again and also recommend it to anyone visiting the Cotswolds,the Room is plenty big enough with a large bed en suite,TV and coffee/tea facilities it's a lovely base for trips around the area.Rooms: Room was spacious after our last two hotels!

Had a quick dinner. Food was nothing special, but staff were pleasant and a cosy atmosphere. Lovely spot by the river. Seemed to be frequented by a lot of locals which is always a good sign.

When you order food off a menu that clearly says you get 2 free drinks with the food and you don't get the offer ask about the drinks and they say they have processed the transaction can't give you the drinks when you question this and ask why wasn't l offered the drinks and the team leader rolls your eyes at you and says it can not be done once the transaction is complete. Great offer highly recommend absolute bargain not.... not the best service and the team leader did at first say she was the manager then change her mind..•I'm all for paying what you should but when there's offers on the staff should always put the customer first and promote these and not come out with nonsense that the computer can't be changed.... I would recommend others in the village for food, beer and customer service

Teaghan was lovely was smiling and was really helpful when questioned the offer.The fire was on and it just made the right atmosphere in the pub.I definitely will recommend this pub and hotel to be visited.This is one of the best landmarks in Bourton.Rooms: The room was tiny but comfortable and perfect for 1 to 2 night stay.Safety: Just okayFood & drinks: Best quality food and service
Visited several times, nice patio for people watching, beer reasonably priced unlike the place across the road. Greene King so you can check the app menu allergies. Ate here twice and quality was great both times.

Had a meal here and unfortunately the chef is married to the microwave. Soggy shortcrust pastry for the meat pie and a so called sirloin steak that was cold. Then the desert, once again microwaved to death the bakewell tart was limp and soggy.

Decent pub, seemed to be the place for locals and had a strange atmosphere (like a fight was on the cards if you looked at the wrong person the wrong way). Had a quick pint, wouldn’t revisit.
