“Beautiful building. Cream tea was lovely, 3 scones, jam and cream and a choice of tea. However, having had a voucher as a present for 4 cream teas, we still had to find another £60 on top. Water for the table....ask for tap as it's £4.95 for a bottle!! We also ordered a couple of extra drinks (beer, Coke) plus they then added service charge on the bill. A very expensive experience!!”

“Amazing restaurant - friendly staff who cleared an area outside for our big dog! Great waitress (4 stars so the owners know) who was very friendly and accommodating. Amazing food. Wish I had the soufflé as it looked amazing. Will be back!”

“Really enjoyed a quick 2-4-1 cocktail here on a Sunday. The atmosphere was nice, the drinks were well made and at a reasonable price. For a quick stop off I was pleasently ”

“Really nice breakfast. The mighty is the way to go. But a few warnings. Don't go fir if you know you can't eat it. Don't waste food. The place has changed as I think it's been taken over since I last came here. But the person running it is really friendly and happy to oblige to changing his menu. Overall a very very satisfying meal.”

“Went as a group of four and had no trouble seating at the restaurant was empty. The service was great and the ambiance intimate. The ribeye was delicious and cooked exactly as requested, medium with the fat cap crispy. The triple cooked chips are definitely worth it as a side too. And don’t forget to ask for the chipotle sauce for dipping the chips. Ended with the crème brûlée and sticky toffee pudding, both of which were good. The restaurant is a bit tricky to find as it’s on the lower level and there isn’t much signage but it is worth the stop!Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible, down a flight of stairs.”
