Unfortunately chips were beige and unappealing, could get over that but they tasted like they have been fried in very old oil.Battered sausage tasted off, really dry batter and again tasted very old, I suspect maybe it was frozen?Potato scallop was incredibly greasy, very unfortunate experience.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF AND THEN INSULTED BY THE OWNER! Missing food. Food was also late. Rang owner to try and sort out the food that was missing but he said it wasn’t his fault and blamed the driver. We found that laughable. ? He didn’t want to take any responsibility and was extremely rude and had a real attitude problem. He would not apologise or refund us for the food that was missing and that we had paid for. He obviously does not care about his customers. The food that did arrive was poor and not good at all. In all honestly, it was probably the worst service we have ever had from a fast food provider. Avoid at all costs! An extremely unhappy ? customer ?

I Had cod and chips the chips and the fish were very nice however the batter was like rubber. 5 minute wait whilst they were doing there deliveroo orders.
kids fancied a fish and chip dinner and Simpsons was slightly further away so thought we'd give these guys a try. The fish was freshly battered and fried in front of me (which is a positive) and when i got home (to my holiday rental) we were really impressed at the size of the cod but then quickly realised that the batter was exceptionally thick and the cod was way to thin. Chips ok but for the prices charged this was a really poor meal. Never again.

Ordered via just eat, 3 mini cod and chips, on arrival I was greeted with 3 fish fingers and charged £15 for this. When I complained on phone I was told that it was in fact a mini cod and chips were extra. £4.90 for a fishfinger!! First and last time!!!!

We have a new neighbour and she asked me where to go for fish and chips I told her Royal fish bar, she then asked me,when I go again could I get her some fish and chips . This I did for her, gets a text from her saying that the fish was some of the best she had tasted only one small problem, she had too many chips, but again they were nice, ok I have read some of the comments, I have always found the staff to be very helpful, cheerful, that's why we go there every week, there is another fish and chip shop nearby but nowhere as good.
