8 members including myself from Wellingborough golf club played today as part of the 1893 club . The young pro was very helpful and welcoming on our arrival. Breakfast was great , Emma and Emily I think we’re the ladies names were both excellent hosts. The golf course was in great condition , members friendly , look forward to returning in the near future.

Views were amazing. Thats where it ends really, most of the members we came across were rude, unfriendly and unwelcoming to visitors. Some of the staff were no better. Considering the price tag, you spend far too much time waiting on shared fairways. Would not recommend and won’t be returning.
Course in good condition.But for the price I would not expect so many shared fairways and stoppages to play. Stuck behind a very slow 4 ball the pro shop said they’d ask to play ready golf and not all hang about for every shot…. But they never did anything. Took over 5 hours to get round with how much you have to wait.They need to redesign the course so people can play without stopping for other players every 3-4 holes. Really ruins the round waiting to play 6 holes for nonesense rules (like being unable to lay up to a par 4 if people are on the green, or can’t play the par 3 until people on the next tee have tee’d off)

I was a guest at the wake that was held at Cirencester Golf Club. What a great place. The food was very special. Well done to the catering team.
