Was treated, by my partner to the most fantastic Sunday lunch for my birthday. This is by far the best in cirencester and the most generous portions! All of the staff go above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. 10/10 oh and the Guinness is just the bestist ever!

We had an absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch here today. Great portions sizes and smaller versions for the children. Chicken, Beef and Nutroast were all excellent with lots of perfectly cooked vegetables. Excellent selection of ales and lagers. Sadly we were too full to try dessert but the Jam Sponge looked lovely on the table next to us. Would absolutely recommend a visit here. Safe we’re really nice and took the time to ensure vegetarian gravy was offered with the nut roast.Vegetarian options: Wife said the nut roast was outstanding

We luckily managed to get a table on Saturday without a booking ( which is rare we were told). We ordered the fish and chips which were pretty good, standard pub grub.

As a 30-something female travelling on her own, entering pubs and restaurants can be a bit awkward, but I felt right at home in the twelve bells! The bar staff were helpful and lovely ☺️ would recommend and would return. Pub was decorated very well for Xmas too ? Soup in picture :)

Just out of the middle of town but well worth finding. The TVs were switched off when I was there. There was music but not so loud that conversation was made difficult. The food was well cooked home style - if I didn’t have the prospect of a big meal later, the battered cod on two other tables would have reeled me in too. Nice choice of draught beers. All round honest-to-goodness pub - like pubs used to be. Enjoy!
