We were given complimentary bread with mayo and pickleI befire the meal .had 3 tapas which were really too much for me to eat. There was a huge choice of hot and cold, meat and vegetarian.My husband had a very large plate of burger and chips. We could see the food bring prepared as the kitchen was next to the bar. Would definitely go back there.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options in the apasParking: Parking by the co-op is free after 6 and on Sunday.”
Bar • “Dropped in for Sunday Lunch and couldn't have asked for better. Ancient building, log fire, real ales, great choice of freshly prepared food topped with a massive Yorkshire Pudding, to my wife's delight. The atmosphere was only marred by a loud local woman who has probably been on holiday to Elevenarife because it's one better than Tenerife! A great out-of-the-way find.”

“Recently moved to the forest, the White Horse recommended by new hairdresser. What a recommendation it was.Ambience of a true Forest pub/restaurant. Lovely people, staff excellent, lovely resident dogs and the food was amazing. Not had lambs liver for some time and it did not disappoint.Wish we could have stayed for sweet but Rugby WC final calling.Will be back very soon.”
