“This was our first visit to Leaf & Ground. We loved the setting, the atmosphere & the delicious, high quality food. The staff were friendly & hard working but there were some basic organizational flaws which really impacted on the service. There was a general sense of staff multi-tasking & lacking a specific focus & role which affected efficiency. Staff were having to borrow each other’s iPads to take orders as there weren’t enough to go around. There were also a couple of examples of communication simply breaking down between staff. For example after lunch we ordered some cake to take away. Payment was taken straight away but then 15 minutes later we were still waiting for someone to simply place the cakes in a box! A bit of a wake-up call to management to sort out some simple improvements and to make the service match the 5 star food and atmosphere ratings!”
