The Willy Wicket

Our server, Paula, was extremely warming and knowledgeable (thanks for keeping our son amused)On recommendation, I had the Steak Pie with a side of onion rings. The whole meal was outstanding! Everyone loves this and Kate provides sandwiches and coffee/tea with a pot provided to show your generosity. . With a very special cake baked by Jane Heath which is delicious. A very homely friendly Pub in Mangotsfield Village.

Restaurant has very reasonable lunch deals so was expecting a small portion but it was more than full size and we couldn't finish it all. The staff were happy to box up the leftovers for us. Very friendly staff, nice food and nice surroundings. Paid the bill and mentioned we were out for a birthday and the next thing we knew the waiter appeared with a bowl of ice cream with a candle in it and they sang happy Birthday to my daughter. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.Parking: Carpark at the rear shared with the rest of the shopping centre.

The food was excellent, and the staff catered for the grandchildren’s needs very well, even giving them an activity pack to keep them entertained. The pub was clean and the staff very friendly.

Huntsman Taverners Downend
Westerleigh Rd, Downend, Emersons Green, BristolA big thank you to Andy and his team at the Huntsman. We held mums wake here and Andy did a great job.After a quick phone call and a 10 minute meeting Andy had sorted everything out for me,the room, extra staff and the buffet which by the way was excellent. I was kept up to date with txt n phone calls which at a difficult time for the family was one less thing to worry about. I have no hesitation in recommending Andy and all the staff at the Huntsman.Im sure they would do a great job hosting any family party or get together. Once again,thank you.

Domino's Pizza - Bristol - Emerson's Green
Unit 6, Emerson's Green Retail Park, Emerson's Green, Emersons Green, BristolI'm local to the area and having a Domino's close is lovely. One of the staff is very kind and social which makes me feel very welcome. Personally she should be employee of the month every month. The food is on point and does not disappoint. The deal with having the pizzas cheaper before a certain time every day is amazing. I have gone to this place all my life and it has never disappointed. The women I said was good also offered me free extra garlic dip so I have to give her well deserved respect for thag hopefully she gets a pay rise. I have only seen one bloke there is quite young 19 or ealry 20's and is very quite and not sociable but gets the job done. Overall as a Emerson's Green connoisseur living her all my life this is one of the main highlights of the area and they need to keep up the good job.

Blackhorse Garage, Emerson Way, Emersons Green, BristolAs far as Subways go. This one is actually really good. All the staff are super friendly and actually care about that you can use your vouchers for a discount. The eating floor is very clean also.I've only ever had a (former) Tuna Kahona sandwich made too messy to eat and Subway have since removed that item and updated it to make better to eat. It's also fantastic Subway now serves CocaCola brand drinks and not Pepsi anymore.Overall this is a really good Subway.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian option tho limited does have some delights to choose from such as the vegan philly cheese stake and the pizza style cheese tomato sandwich. If you don't mind eating fish/are a pescitarian tuna also can make a good combination of sandwiches.

Westerleigh Rd, Emersons Green, BristolI ordered a medium rare sirloin with some extra peppercorn sauce it was cooked to perfection and the drink selection was good with a selection of draft beers and ipas the staff are friendly and hard work definitely do recommend for anyone in emersons
