We arrived in town late on a Sunday hoping to find a place for dinner that would still be open at 9pm. This was the only restaurant other than a kebab place. We were doubtful about an Italian restaurant in a small English village, but with no other options, we decided to take the risk. Great experience. We had pizza, fresh Dover sole, pasta and freshly made tiramisu. We benefited by paying attention to the restaurant's recommended dishes. Service was friendly and efficient even though it was a busy time. We had a nice chat with the proprietor and, clearly, they are passionate about their food.

This place is a must visit if you like Italian food. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and attentive.Everything came out in a timely fashion and was some of the nicest Italian food I've had in a long time!
