This place is small. I understand there is a room upstairs though. The patrons were friendly as was the barman. I had their own beer and it was excellent. I will go back for another soon and one of their cheese and onion rolls. They looked delicious ?

A very warm welcome to this compact bar from the friendly and enthusiastic landlord. An interesting choice of well kept beers, all the more amazing given the very limited cellarage. A definite port of call next visit to Gloucester.

Great pub good atmosphere. Just one thing. The price of the duck bitter seems to have gone up in price quite dramatically £1.00 a pint more than the last time I visited.

A fantastic bar in a perfect location. The house ale a great accompaniment to the live blues. Will definitely visit again and recommend to my friends.
