Great finish to the dayVegetarian options: Not a vegetarian myself but the couple at the next table were and their meals looked deliciousParking: Plenty of free parking, we managed to get very close to the entrance but for younger, fitter patrons the carpark is long and easy to park, small and large vehiclesKid-friendliness: We no longer have young children but there were plenty in enjoying the freedom space gives. Not intrusive or noisy but perhaps we got a good dayWheelchair accessibility: I was surprised at how many wheelchair users were in the beefeater so must have good facilities to attract them

Staff were ok, just very informal no nice greetings or names given. Just get the orders and go... No checking if food is ok any problems etc. the atmosphere was just come in eat and go feeling.... No please come back again or thanks for coming. Luck it's 2 stars not 0 stars!!

Went on a date night with the wife. Not the first time we've been to the Longford, and indeed, our last visit was less than stellar! This time, however, pretty much everything was near perfect. Particular mention must be given to the food, especially the cooking of the meats, which, without exception, was fantastic.

Kay and Kay were absolutely amazing at breakfast service! They were very friendly and cheerful and created a great atmosphere and lots of laughs. Nice to see workers getting along and be able to relax and laugh and joke. They made conversation and made us feel welcome.We had come up from Cornwall to see my brother going through chemo, it was nice to have a friendly relaxed environment. Evening staff were great too, friendly faces and great service, food took a while to come out understandable since it was so busy. Food was absolutely beautiful morning and evening. Highly recommend : )

Impromptu lunch date with hubby.Hadnt booked but were able to get a table.Sunday lunch was beautiful.The meat just melted .I had chicken hubby had the lamb .Sadly to full for pud but coffee was really good.Staff attentive without being intrusive.We didn't have to wait too long for our food which we were happy about as we were hungry.

Went to the Longford Inn for a Sunday lunch. They now sell Strongbow instead of Thatchers & Stowfords. Strongbow is cheap & rancid. I ordered a 7 once gammon steak that came with literally 12 chips, a few peas an egg & slice of pineapple.The food was cooked nicely & tasted okay - albeit the gammon being too salty. But for almost £13 it was a complete & utter rip-off. I felt more hungry leaving there than before I entered the place.Never again.

Love the variety of food & price is good for lunchtime menu.Shame you don't have a weekend Sunday Special menu as price is quite high in relation to weekday menu.Attended Longford Beefeater Restaurant for my eldest Granddaughters 21st Birthday yesterday. As usual the staff were friendly, efficient & the food was as usual FIRST CLASS.Thank you ALL for contributing to Katie's 21st birthday.May 2024 be a brilliant year for YOU ALL.Dietary restrictions: My daughter in law & granddaughter are both gluten intolerant. Our waitress was so understanding as she also has allergies. It's so nice to not be alienated through no fault of their own.

The waitress was kind and attentive.
