Been done up and food so much better. I had halloumi fajitas there a few years ago at they weren't good at all and really put me off the place. Went there recently and decided to give it another shot. So much better and just generally felt cleaner and nicer in there. Would go back more frequently now.

Nice to see the refurb but feels like they rushed in and out. Keep it shut for another week and improve where needed. Windows look poor against what has been done. Seats outside still rickety and needing repair. Ladies loos - sinks too high. Doors just painted so already seeing chips in the paint.However Ellie and Jamie nice and welcoming as always. Nice atmosphere and good for quiz night. Food nice although chilli like soup. More meat needed.

The service was spot on but, unfortunately the food was terrible. We were told there was an hours wait on food orders but, when the food eventually arrived it was all dried up as if the food was just kept warm until food was delivered to our table.
A long wait to order food at the at the bar, 30 mins. Due to lack of staff and new employee. Waited 2 hours for our food which was not hot. Offered a free a sweet, which a further 30mins and was a luke warm. Will not be going back any time soon!

The pub was buzzing and busy, it was nice to see. We arent very local but travelled here and were glad we did.Food was lovely only issue was length of wait. The starter took about 40 minutes to come out and then when that was finished we waited another 40 minutes for our mains to come out.A bit of organisation in the kitchen on a busy night needed but otherwise i cant fault a delicious meal and a friendly and welcoming pub. We will definitely be back.Kid-friendliness: Lots of families around eating and enjoying.
