Great food, great prices, great atmosphere at this great local pub. Weekly Friday night visits with friends and some lunchtimes the team there always friendly and will always try to accomodate your requests
Although we only live about 1 1/2 miles from The Turmut we have 2 other pubs closer to us, in easy walking distance, so have rarely been in The Turmut. We booked a table at 6:30 yesterday evening 'just to be safe', not expecting it to be too busy. Thank goodness we booked as the place was packed. Despite that, bar service was quick and food delivered within less than 30 minutes of ordering. There was one error on the order as a 5 ounce steak was delivered when 8 ounce was ordered...read full review

Enjoyed Christmas dinner here with my family. Staff were very attentive, friendly, helpful and I have to say the Christmas dinner was the best I’ve had out. All credit to the staff and chefs. Thanks for a lovely day!! ! Will be booking again for next year.
