Church Rd, Soudley, CinderfordWe had the warmest of welcomes from our hosts and their local customers at this family-run pub today when we descended on them for a hastily arranged folk music session.
The pub could not have been more accommodating. Although they do not serve food they were happy for us to bring our own snacks.
Clean, tidy and in a beautiful setting in the forest with plenty of parking space and a pretty garden.
We had a lovely relaxed afternoon. We will be back!

Frydays Traditional Fish & Chips
Grange House, Grange Ln, Littledean, CinderfordMy husband and I had a few nights stay in the Forest of Dean. Friyays had been recommended in our guide and it did not disappoint. We called to preorder and when we arrived our fish and chips were ready. We sat on the outside bench to eat watching the world go by with the beautiful countryside scenery in the back ground. The fish and chips were delicious and were very generous portions. Seemed to be very popular with the locals which is always a good sign. Absolutely 10/10 thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
