“Unexpected guests meant we were looking for a late afternoon Sunday lunch….. and The George did not disappoint, carvery until 5.30pm, the food was awesome, plentiful, with the service being second to none especially ‘Stu’ the young lad who was having his first taster of waiting tables, and managing customers expectations, a few more sessions and he’ll have them eating out of his hands.
I have to say we will definitely be back.”

“Had a great experience at The Woodman! I ordered the Big Stuff Pizza and it was absolutely delicious – generous toppings, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. Definitely one of the best pub pizzas I’ve had in a while.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the barman was lovely – friendly, attentive, and made the whole visit even better. Great service really makes a difference, and he nailed it.

Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving good pizza and a relaxed pub vibe!”
