My family and I have eaten here over the years, and their food is always good, especially the cheesy scone appetisers. Tonight I tried the pie. Chicken, ham and mushroom; incredible. Proper pie with shortcrust pastry inside and out. I kid you not, that is the best pie I've tasted in a long time.
Very friendly pub and team. We didn’t have a chance to try the restaurant but the pub atmosphere was chatty and local but friendly and we were treated to a delightful breakfast hamper on Christmas morning.

Had Sunday lunch yesterday and it was absolutely delicious. Great choice too. I love this place. We eat out quite a lot, but it is still my favourite. Everything is cooked to order. Always a great selection. Staff FAB. What more can I say.
