The room was spotless and comfortable and the breakfast excellent.
The only disappointment was that the restaurant wasn't open (Monday). Fortunately we were directed to a lovely Italian restaurant a couple of minutes walk.”

“What a fantastic evening at The Rising Sun. Our work christmas meal followed by the quiz. Our food was outstanding, we could not fault anything we were served. The presentation of the deserts with the little extras made us all smile. A real Christmas treat. Followed by the Christmas Quiz, so much fun and laughter in the pub. Thank-you to everyone there. We had a fantastic night”

“Had a great experience at The Woodman! I ordered the Big Stuff Pizza and it was absolutely delicious – generous toppings, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. Definitely one of the best pub pizzas I’ve had in a while.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the barman was lovely – friendly, attentive, and made the whole visit even better. Great service really makes a difference, and he nailed it.
Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving good pizza and a relaxed pub vibe!”
