We really enjoyed our dinner at The Fox Inn tonight! We had some vegetarians in our group and even though the menu didn’t show but one vegetarian option, we still really enjoyed the side dishes we ordered. The veggies, the mash and the pepper sauce were delicious! We also ordered some dessert, which was really good as well!Vegetarian options: Only one vegetarian option as a main but many delicious vegetarian side dishes to choose from.

Lovely countryside village pub. As the name suggests, there's a lot of foxes in it! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and lots of them (so quick service!) Daily special menus on the black board. Today's pie for two is very special indeed! Good local clientele. Large parking space in the back as well as in front. Many clients bring their dogs and babies and children. Family friendly.

Really lovely pub. We visited on a Sunday evening at 6pm (normal menu was available, not Sunday lunch - we were happy with this!! Lots of choice available) and had a gorgeous steak frites and toad in the hole. The sticky toffee was amazing and the Cotswold gin was beautiful. The atmosphere was so lovely, really cosy and traditional. Music was lovely, service was great and we can’t wait to find an excuse to visit again.

Came for a family birthday expecting good things. Warm greeting and a great menu. Unfortunately after a long wait we enquired after our starters and were told “the chefs say they only got the order 13 minutes ago”; in other words, the chefs say f-off. This would have been annoying even if it were true, although we’d actually been waiting 40 minutes and the table next to us had had a starter and main during that time. I just really didn’t appreciate that at all. Plus point: service was taken off the bill without our asking; the food was fine. Won’t be coming back.

Excellent apart from one dish, toad in the hole. The sausage was undercooked and the pudding overcooked. As a cook, you need to cook the sausage first before putting it in the pastry to cook. Apart from that the other ten courses were Excellent.

Absolutely lovely, the food was brilliant and service was great. Would 100% recommend if you’re ever in the area. The pork and veal meatballs are a must :)

Expensive for OK food. 12.5% service charge is OTT.

When we arrived we ordered our drinks after 20mins one of our party had to go to the bar to be told they had forgotten us. After another 10 mins, they finally came and took our food order. That was 30 mins from when we arrived to place our orders. When my fish and chips came, the batter was rock hard, probably been cooked once, and then reheated. Portions were mediocre, to say the least, and finally, the surcharge was automatically added. There was nothing on the menu to suggest this would be the case. The good news is they wavered the 12%. It still didn't make it a pleasant experience, and it certainly wasn't VFM.

New management has improved things, but also upped the prices. Still worth it if you're in the neighborhood. Cheers mate!

Was there to clean windows so I'm not sure about the internals but the pub has a very organised yet relaxed atmosphere around the place! Thanks for the work!

Sticky toffee pudding is the best dessert we’ve had in England. Wonderful staff and food!
