This is a beautiful pub and inn. We came to stay 10 years after stopping in for a drink and noting how lovely the rooms looked. A decade later we weren't disappointed. Really pleasant stay, very friendly staff and a nice breakfast in the morning. Worth the 10 year wait.Rooms: Lovely decor that retains the character of an old pub. Quite a small shower though. I could barely move in it, but it didn't negatively impact my stay.Nearby activities: The cotswolds are just beautiful. What more to say?!

A beautiful stay over the past weekend, great place, great location, immaculate, friendly team and a brilliant breakfast - what more could you ask for! We will be back!

A special place to stay, in my opinion. The accommodations were cozy and well-considered. The location was in the heart of the village which made it easy to sightsee and enjoy meals out. Private parking was appreciated. The Bell itself has a nice menu and meals were very tasty. I opted for B&B and breakfast offerings were bountiful! I would definitely recommend.

We Stayed in the Badger room and although the rooms look very nice, we found them lacking in storage, one hanging rail with 4 hangers, this was rectified quickly after asking for more, there were no draws in the room at all ,so we found ourselves living out of our suitcases, not ideal at all....We found the room very warm, even with the radiator turned down and the windows were unable to be opened as they were screwed in the shut position, the bed was comfy and pillows good, nice shower and decent breakfast, but walls very thin, to the point we could hear the conversations of the guests in the adjoining room. I wouldn't say that that we had value for money and spoilt our long weekend away a little..

Me, my partner and our two little furry babies stopped for lunch and we couldn’t be more satisfied about the service and the food. The place is lovely and it really gives you those “Cotswolds vibes” and they also allow dogs at the bar area which is great. The food was delicious, I Would definitely recommend and will be back in the future.

Nice cosy room with good quality teas and bathroom productsA bigger cup/ mug would help, especially in the cold winter

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic stay here the other weekend. Magical location in the heart of the Cotswolds - it's great to get out of London. Beds were really comfy, the team were very accommodating (special shout outs to Alex, Sally, Sylvia and Carol!) and the pub had a fab atmosphere as always. We'll certainly be back soon.

We called in on a very busy Saturday lunchtime and had to wait for a table, but it was worth it. The food was good but the waitress that served us even better. What a star Carol is! Running around the place picking up the slack that some other, more forgetful staff were creating - all with a smile on her face and a lovely disposition. Thanks to her, we had a lovely afternoon. Definitely a keeper! We'll be back

We stayed in the Stag room which was very nice at a reasonable price, the breakfast was excellent & staff friendly & helpful. As expected, if you stay in a pub you can expect a bit of noise downstairs at night but it was reasonable & not too late. Unfortunately the pub would stink of fish every morning but you can’t smell it in the room which was fortunate. Dinner was a little disappointing.

We’ve just concluded a lovely family holiday and could not have had a more lovely evening and farewell meal than with the team at The Bell. Carolyn was our delightful server - attentive, professional and just a lovely energy. She made a fantastic evening even better. The food was amazing and it made such wonderful memory for us all. Thank you!

recently had a meal at the bell with family and I have to say the food was excellent and our server Carol was outstanding. Dispite being busy she was still excellent and a credit to the bell. Will absolutely be returning and will definitely recommend. WELL DONEFood & drinks: Fantastic

We only came here for breakfast, which was delicious. We inadvertently came in right when breakfast service was stopped, but they kindly seated us anyway despite not being guests at the hotel. Very considerate. Would definitely recommend.

We had booked a table for 2 well in advance of our meal and yet they thought it would be a good idea to put us back-to-back next to another couple, which was not the best atmosphere. Plus there was a noisy table of 4 kids beside us, which thankfully, when we got there they were 10 mins around before they left! We couldn't get parked outside the pub because people who had larger cars, couldn't park them straight or at all! So we went to the car park over the road, which was free after a certain time. The food was OK, nothing amazing and they had a very poor choice of non-alcoholic drinks. I chose a glass of wine and the waitress didn't know it was even on the menu. Granted, she was only helping out as she's normally a chef in the kitchen but they were short-staffed that night. All the staff were very helpful and she also changed over a pint of ale my other half had ordered, as the first one was tasteless. It's a dog-friendly pub too.

Very charming building and rooms, however the upstairs room was a bit stuffy and overly warm even in early October. No fan was available for a bit of breeze in the bedroom. Also, the bed ever so slightly sloped toward the headboard which when laying down felt a bit like standing on your head, and the street below the only window had a fair bit of traffic noise until midnight. Overall made for a rough night of sleep.
