We stayed in the Stag room which was very nice at a reasonable price, the breakfast was excellent & staff friendly & helpful. As expected, if you stay in a pub you can expect a bit of noise downstairs at night but it was reasonable & not too late. Unfortunately the pub would stink of fish every morning but you can’t smell it in the room which was fortunate. Dinner was a little disappointing.
We’ve just concluded a lovely family holiday and could not have had a more lovely evening and farewell meal than with the team at The Bell. Carolyn was our delightful server - attentive, professional and just a lovely energy. She made a fantastic evening even better. The food was amazing and it made such wonderful memory for us all. Thank you!

We called in on a very busy Saturday lunchtime and had to wait for a table, but it was worth it. The food was good but the waitress that served us even better. What a star Carol is! Running around the place picking up the slack that some other, more forgetful staff were creating - all with a smile on her face and a lovely disposition. Thanks to her, we had a lovely afternoon. Definitely a keeper! We'll be back
