Lovely pub lunch. Delicious food, substantial portions, excellent friendly service. Make sure you book on the weekends to guarantee a table, although they did have a lots of walk ins, also plenty of space outside. Dog friendly.

Third time we've eaten here. Sensible menu suits all sorts. They were more than happy to adapt the menu to suit my restrictive diet. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff.

One of the very best food experiences we have ever had.Visiting the area and never been to Stroud before.Made an impromptu visit to the Butchers Arms.A really warm welcome.Lots of VG and GF options plus zero beers. The food was so tasty. Best vegan burger I have experienced todate. Dairy free ice cream options as well.Wish our local was run by someone so focused on the diner experience and open minded as Jayne is on those with varied dietary requirementsHighly recommend. Will revisit if ever in the area again.Thank to Jayne and her team .

It was a grey, rainy midweek afternoon. I went in with a couple of special needs adults. We were greeted cheerfully and invited to take a seat by the log burner. We had missed lunches, but that didn't matter. We were out socially and had hot drinks. Coffees and hot chocolates were luxurious. We started chatting to the owner, who has been there for about a year and was settling in well. He was kind and generous to members of our party. We looked at a menu to see what was on offer. A small menu, though there were several dishes that were really tempting along with daily specials. From what I understood, the menu is revised every 3 months. All dishes were very reasonably priced. A lovely country pub, well worth a visit

Lovely, cosy Cotswold country pub. Good comfort food and interesting ales. Friendly service too. Hope to return soon.
Staying with the wife close by in Gloucester Premier inn and came across the Butchers Arms. Had a lovely meal with generous portion sizes and all at reasonable prices. Would recommend if you are in the area!

Went here after a 10km walk around the area, didn't book, but took a chance. Glad we did, food was fabulous. Great hone made food, scrumptious desserts, and great hospitality. A really nice touch, having Triv question cards on the table to spark conversation and to entertain. I would definitely go back.
