Cafe clean. Would have liked a serviette but didn't appear to be any about. Toasted Sandwich was brought out quickly.. perfect if you pushed for time.Nice seating and well spaced.Wheelchair access door on side.

I recently visited a Costa Coffee and was in for a treat. Not the coffee, mind you. The barista was having a dance-off with the man moonlighting outside. It was a spectacle, I tell you. Every time a customer walked in, the barista would pause, take their order and then continue his moonlit jig. I was half-tempted to join in, but the coffee wasn't worth the embarrassment. In all seriousness, the coffee was decent, but the barista's dance moves were definitely the highlight of my visit. Who knows, maybe he'll be the next big dance sensation. All I know is, I'll be back to see him dance in the moonlight once more.

Found a table easily enough, food and coffee was good but ordering service was a bit chaotic and abruptness between staff

The service is not good at all. Firstly, we ordered two cappuccinos and one iced latte, as a result they gave us three cappuccinos. Secondly, we needed to eat cakes from the bags not from a plates as in usual cafes. Thirdly, the cappuccinos were with more water taste than coffee taste. Fourthly, they have a dirty kitchen and waste above the trashcan, where the sugar and wood sticks are. But the cakes were good enough.

Clean and tidy when we visited. Service with a smile. Lots of seasonal options available. I think they had new staff, so perhaps not such speedy service, but still great coffee.

Relaxed, spacious environment. Stroud is awash with mediocre cafes and eateries, but having been disappointed with the majority of them (mainly due to the environment) – I have migrated back to Costa. I wouldn't normally patronise a compnay owned by Coca-Cola but if they get it right....why not!!

My experience was severely unwelcoming. Very abrupt whilst taking my order. i entered into a this store which had no queue, no customers in the front part of the store. As I put my sandwich on the counter and waited to be acknowledged another customer came, who the member of staff overlooked me and proceeded to have a conversation with that customer, I appreciate that customer must have been a regular.I order a Carmel Frappe which they got wrong, I tried to help out when I saw them using the wrong milk. They threw there arms in the air then began to make what I hoped would be, the correct order whilst slamming things around. I paid for extra coffee and caramel, which were certainly not included. My toasted sandwich was dropped onto my tray. This staff member then to my amazement manage to place my coffee onto the tray whilst having her back to me. I said “thank you”, I was ignored.Unwarranted hostility. Seems great with the locals of Stroud. As sad as it my sound, I’m just gutted as there’s an excitement for me attached to going to Costa for a Caramel Frappé. This was a waste

My wife and I were in Stroud 15th October in the morning. As we are regular Costa visitors we were very disappointed with service. It was very slow and seemed very disorganised and waited at least 10mins for our coffee even though we were second in the queue. We went back again in the afternoon for something hot to eat hoping there was a change of personnel but there wasn't. Again we waited longer this time. We both had bacon baps when my came the bottom was covered in cheese. I couldn't be bothered to change it but removed the cheese from the bottom. It wasn't ideal as I don't like cheese. We definitely would not go there again.

Our toasted sandwiches had hardly any filling and looked completely squashed. Definitely our last visit.

Walked in and the member of staff (Shirley) served us, she had a attitude however I didn’t think anything of it. I asked for a iced coffee with coconut milk and syrup x2 with crushed ice. She put the order through but then said no you want a frappe and I said no just crushed ice.I explained it was for a dietary requirement and that I just needed ice, coconut milk, coffee and syrup. She then complained I said the wrong order and I wanted a frappe, I explained again and she confirmed my order. She made a huge fuss having to void the original and re enter the order. She spoke in a condescending tone ( repeating my words with a childishly voice) when I explained it was dairy free order.I paid for my 3 coffees as she was shouting at the other member of staff, she then made my order and put the powder in it, to which I said no I didn’t want that as it may have an allergen which I didn’t request.I re explained to her what I order originally was how I needed it to be made as it’s for a dietary requirement as shouted shouted at me. My friend then said just cancel the order, as it was upsetting her so much. This staff member was so rude and disrespectful, she clearly doesn’t understand how to treat people as well as not understanding allergens which is a mayor red flag.I emailed Costa about this visit, however I don’t think they understood how dangerous it can be if someone had an item which causes an allergic reaction.
