Breakfast is good. The rest is a bit "hit and miss"

Really lovely staff! Clean and quiet roomHad the meal deal dinner, drink and breakfast - fantastic value for money. Again restaurant staff were all so lovely, and polite. As a single woman travelling, they even gave me table service for wine and dessert so I didn't have to gather my belongings each time to go to the bar. Would recommend. Only criticism is WiFi is lackingRooms: Comfy and quiet - WiFi is lackingFood & drinks: Great choice and good value

Nice warm room, comfortable bed and all facilities. Nice big shower and the curtains blocked out all the light. Couple of little issues that showed up, purely by me being very picky. Said curtains covered the radiator so lost the heat from it. No bedside power socket, needed for my CPAP breathing machine, only a usb outlet. Two tea bags and a few instant coffee sachets in the tray. Toilet paper in a holder across the room from the loo, only an issue for short people though. Too be fair, reception were aware of the socket issue and provided an extension lead on request.Overall, the staff everywhere I came into contact with, were very friendly, helpful and professional. Now comes the downside, paid for a meal deal in the Brewers Fayre which is part of the building. It consists of a two-course meal and a drink in the evening and a full buffet breakfast in the morning.Starter of prawn cocktail was ok, the “malt” bread to accompany seemed to be plain brown to me.Main course of fish and chips, what could possibly go wrong?Greasy, soggy batter, overcooked fish, peas and soggy chips that had been under the warming lights for ages. Asked if I wanted any sauce, I asked for mayonnaise. What turned up was the smallest dish they could find with about a large teaspoonful of white stuff in it. Tasted like the cheapest mayonnaise you could find and to make matters worse they had used it to make the tartare sauce as well, which they had waved a few ingredients over to claim its name. Of course, nobody came and asked “how was the meal”, I think they knew. Unusually I did not send it back, due to being in a group and not wishing to disrupt the others. Stupid I know.Breakfast was cheap and cheerful but actually good value and I would recommend it.

Good and well located to visit Stroud and the surroundings. The restaurant is too busy at times, but the staff tries to be helpful. In summary, reasonable balance of price Vs

We stayed here for 4 nights for a work trip. Staff were so wonderful and friendly! Couldn’t do enough for us. Room was clean, comfy bed, great breakfast with vegan options. Nice and quiet, but super location central to the main restaurants and high street, easy parking! Great stay, thank you to the staff who were very welcoming and kind x

Standard Premier Inn stuff. Clean room, comfy bed, nice bathroom with a decent shower and plenty of hot water. The hotel is in a quiet location set back from the nearest road so it was pretty easy to get a decent night's sleep. There were plenty of parking spaces. The breakfast was either a serve-yourself buffet on busy days or orders were taken at your table on quiet days, but either way it was good. My only real complaint was that the inn room WiFi was next to useless. Maybe it was just my room but I could not maintain a constant connection to the hotspot from any of my devices.

Nice hotel in a fairly accessible location, it's a premier Inn and up to the usual high standard!
