After a tidy walk up Watledege Hill, a lovely lunch and a couple of leisurely drinks (well 3 actually) with a FANTASTIC view ... worth the walk :)

After a long, wet walk around the common and surrounding villages we were very pleased to get such great food and friendly service today. Beer was great too. We had pork roasts, and the sticky toffee pudding and treacle tart. Warm pub, proper portions (yay, veg!!), sensible prices, and lovely staff. Will recommend to others ?

Good pint of Cascade from Gloucester Brewery and homemade chicken and leek pie. Log fire, great views. Quiet on a Fri lunch.

Great local pub, cosy, excellent food and on a sunny day the garden is the best!

Very clear that the owners care & have put thought into the place, stunning views from the conservatory & a great choice of food with a great vegetarian option - highly recommend the spinach & bean burger.

Lovely pub. But does shut early which can dampen the squib a tad. But service, food and atmosphere always good.

We had never been here before, we drove over 2 hours to meet family last Sunday for lunch. We have to say the roast turkey dinner was delicious, probably the best Sunday pub roast we've had in a long time. The Christmas cheesecake was gorgeous, the service was great. We will definatly come back ?
