My sister and I would just like to thank the staff at The Clothiers Arms for their fantastic service during our stay. Every step was really friendly and professional, from making the booking, help with requests, check-in/out and dining in the restaurant. The bedrooms were comfortable with decent facilities, and we found the food to be delicious and very generous in portion size! Thanks so much! ☺️

I have been going to this pub for years. It is a lovely place, whether you are going with friends and family for a meal or for a quick beer after work. It has a good beer garden that has plenty of seats for the summer. There is also a pool table and a dart board. The clothiers has a traditional pub feel, well worth a visit.Walkability: It is a 5min walk from Stroud town centreFood & drinks: The food is always very good with a nice variety at a reasonable price. There is a good range of drinks.

Just had a buffet for a celebration of life at the clothiers for 45 people. Great food and service staff were amazing. Thank you so much for a great afternoon and great food.

My husband and I spent the night at the closest end room, a little small, but adequate service excellence, we were a bit late for breakfast and therefore the last table set. However, we were not rushed and the service was still very good thank you debs and Stuart. I especially enjoyed the full English breakfast, which had the eggs on a bit of spinach, compliments to the cook, great idea.We will be back before ChristmasMaureen and Kevin in Kent

Went for lunch on a Sunday 12pm, just after opening with my wife and nan, there was a bit of a rush of customers, but staff handled very well.We had olives and mozzarella stick for starters which were very good. I had the Jack Daniels burger which was excellent and good sized meal, my nan had the classic which again was excellent and she was unable to finish so I helped ?. My wife had the large chicken and chorizo panini, again was excellent and too big for her to finish, so again I attempted to help finish.Overall excellent service and food, the only reason I've not given 5 stars is because the rush of customers when we arrived. I've visited here a few times of many years and would always recommend. To future customers I would recommend arriving an hour or two after opening as once the opening/lunch time rush was over it was a much better atmosphere.Wish I took pictures of food to post, sorry
