*UPDATE* Back for more sizzlers. Even better than the first time. So spicy, so creamy.SIZZLING! ? I came here with my baby boy Harry, and he absolutely loved the Chicken Sizzlers. Extra hot and spicy, just how he likes it. Coming back soon for more Sizzlers! Thank you!!

On a family trip we booked an evening meal. Traditional pub with a great atmosphere and friendly locals. It was busy and we enjoyed a drink in the garden before eating inside. The food was excellent. I had a steak which was cooked to perfection. My granddaughter had a cheese burger and my wife had lasagne. The real ale was kept to perfection. However the star of the show was Sophie and her kitchen team. Sophie was welcoming and a great host. She looked after us throughout the evening and was funny and charming. If you're in the area drop in for a drink but make sure you book if you want to eat.

Lovely pub, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Recommended booking though if you want food, but luckily staff managed to fit us in :)

The pub is quite small inside, but has a large outdoor seating. Would recommend booking a table. We ate few times and our favourite was the burger. It was a large portion, juicy burger ? salad ? and french fries ? all were delicious ?

Absolutely fantastic Sunday roast: really impressed with the food here! Our families ate the beef, pork, vegetarian and vegan nut roasts and everyone was wowed by the great taste and also the generous perfectly cooked vegetables . Fabulous all round. Helpful and accommodating staff. Beautiful scenery and views, indoor and a variety of outdoor seating in sun and shade- highly recommend Sunday lunch here.

I was born and brought up in France Lynch but left some 40 years ago to see the world - a trip down memory Lane took us to the Kings Head for lunch. It’s changed a bit, 2 bars have become one - it’s warm and bright, and does food - things have moved on! It was so nice to see it’s still a village pub with a lunchtime trade - we had the scampi and it was excellently cooked and a decent pint to go with it. Retired and living in Scotland we probably won’t be back again If you want a pub off the beaten track with good beer and honest prices in a real Cotswold village give it a go .

Gorgeous little pub with a good array of local beers and plenty of 'foreign' options. Well kept beer and very jolly atmosphere. Cosy fire and friendly staff.

Visited here Christmas Day for a cheeky Baileys !! A Lovely traditional pub in a beautiful part of the U.K . A lovely atmosphere and although we wasn't locals we felt at home. Got served almost immediately, a verity in the city ! Definitely recommend if your in the area.

This little pub has always been our favourite. A recent makeover has made it much better to enjoy both inside and out. Well done to Joe and team.

My partner and often pop in for a pint after a walk, but the little landlord was so vile about our dog, we didn't feel we wanted to stop.Or ever go back
