On a family trip we booked an evening meal. Traditional pub with a great atmosphere and friendly locals. It was busy and we enjoyed a drink in the garden before eating inside. The food was excellent. I had a steak which was cooked to perfection. My granddaughter had a cheese burger and my wife had lasagne. The real ale was kept to perfection. The pub is quite small inside, but has a large outdoor seating. Would recommend booking a table. We ate few times and our favourite was the burger. It was a large portion, juicy burger ? salad ? and french fries ? all were delicious ?
