Such an atmospheric pub - would recommend booking a table in one of the downstairs bars. We can't highly recommend enough the 2 in 1 pies - we had steak and kidney and the chicken. Both were absolutely delicious. We found the mini size great, but we did have some chips and a side of veg between us. The staff work really hard and they provided great service.

Lovely food with great and attentive service, will be visiting again! Highly Recommend.Vegetarian options: Great options for Veggies! And tasty too!Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible side entrance with ramp in and bottom door all level inside the pub. Disabled toilet not far either.
Worth the day trip to revisit. Busy but no drop in service! Korev was a bit lively.

Its a lovely country pub with a fire and a warm welcome, who would have thought we needed a two in one pie in our lives, but I am definitely a convert, the pastry was crumbly and melt in the mouth along with the meat in the filling, the cauliflower cheese was a lovely contrast. I had lime and lime tart for desert, again wonderful pastry so obviously home made - not many restaurants do that anyway. Good beer also. Looking forward to trying Sunday lunch soon

Quaint British pub, such a lovely atmosphere, log burners oldie worldie decor. The 2 in 1 pies were delicious and I was really surprised with the short crust top, it was so light and fluffy. Service was great and the servers were very attentative.
