I haven't been to this pub for well over 20 years, and it has always had a good reputation for food. The menu specialises in pies, all of our meals were excellent. I had the lasagne, and it was one of the best I've ever eaten. (Must remember to take photos).Parking: Plenty of easy parking available.
First trip and won't be the last. I am literally bulging at the seams after this delicious filling pie. I had the 2in1 Turkey with trimmings and Cauliflower cheese in the other half. Washed down with Old Spot ale. It was truly a delight. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The pastry was like a cross between filo and short crust, it was almost like shortbread consistency and was fantastic. I would highly recommend visiting here to try these delicious pies!

The 2-in-1 pies are delicious. The one pictured is a Stake and Mushroom pie. Great friendly service. Had a crème brulé for dessert. The only issue we had was the coffee. I'm sure it was a one off. Even then, you really don't go for the coffee, but for everything else!
