“OMG - took my wife here for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and the food and service was amazing. If you want to be sure of a great pub lunch or dinner in the Cirencester / Tetbury area, which can be a bit hit and miss these days, then look no further than the Troublehouse, it’s the best I have been to in many years. I had Scallops as a starter and fillet steak as a main, both cooked to perfection. The fact that the pub restaurant was busy on a Tuesday lunch says it all. “We stayed at the Priory Inn for a weekend break, using it as a base to visit places of interest in south Gloucestershire. We were broadly happy with our experience. The decoration of the rooms looked a little tired, but that's really our only criticism. The beds were comfy, the breakfasts were excellent, and the bathroom actually had a bath (wonderful!). On our first evening we used the hotel dining room for dinner, and that too was excellent (I recommend the pork). Above all, I'd like to congratulate the lady front-of-house manager who was always friendly, helpful and on top of things. She gave the impression of someone who loved her job.”

“Four of us called in for lunch yesterday, we hadn't booked and received a warm welcome. The waitress was kind, warm and patient. The food (halloumi salad ) was absolutely delicious. The salad was fresh and had grapes and olives, a real treat ! The premises provided a lovely break from the very wet day outside, it was warm inside and the toilets were clean. As we were having a cream tea at Chavenage House we decided not to have a piece of cake, but the cakes looked really nice and there was a great choice. Thoroughly recommended.”
