Service it’s fantastic. Staff were attentive and polite. Food service was quick. Partner had a large full English and I had a sausage sandwich. The full English was enjoyed and eaten. Unfortunately I did not enjoy my sandwich. Was disappointed to receive 2 bog standard catering sausages on thick store enough bread. Four of us called in for lunch yesterday, we hadn't booked and received a warm welcome. The waitress was kind, warm and patient. The food (halloumi salad ) was absolutely delicious. The salad was fresh and had grapes and olives, a real treat ! The premises provided a lovely break from the very wet day outside, it was warm inside and the toilets were clean. A friend and I went for a walk today and finished here. What a gem of a place. The staff were fantastic, it appeared there was a new staff member who was being trained, you can't train personality and he and the others were all excellent, welcoming, attentive when needed and extremely polite.
