This place never dissapoints, even when it's wet and muddy. It's just the best place to reset and relax.

We loved our visit to this pub and had a swim in the river, which was amazing although a few people had said it was too polluted these days. We took appropriate precautions like not swallowing it and showering in the campsite makeshift showers immediately afterwards. The interior of the pub was interesting and quirky although we called during the recent heatwave so everyone was outdoors on benches overlooking the river. You do need to watch out for the swans. The food was basic but inexpensive. Definitely worth a visit. We walked from Tewkesbury mainly along the river.Walkability: From Tewkesbury during the day it is an easy walk.

Great camp site location, lovely pub, could do with fixing up the bathroom facilities.

Really great pub , I didn’t stay so can’t rate the rooms . Staff very welcoming to my dog .I had the jacket potato and although nice , I would have liked more of the home made chilli con carne and cheese . What I had as a topping tasted good but there needed enough to cover the potato .

Only popped in for drink, lovely riverside setting. Busy as lots of people enjoying paddle boarding/swim, but plenty of seating.

Tenting stop on a river. Very nice spot a bit crowded with camper vans and tents. Wash house poor.Nearby activities: Was nice to swim in river but very rough getting in and out with rocks and old bricks to scramble over. A bit weedy but refreshing on a hot day.

So peaceful and picturesque. We camped there and it was amazing.
Nice pub by the river, stopped for lunch & enjoyed scampi in the basket, others with me had jacket potato & baguettes, all food went down well, will definitely go back.

Superb historic pub offering accommodation, real ales, ciders and home cooked food. It is a destination pub as there are no other venues nearby.Options for camping and caravan stays are also available.Try it once and you'll go back!

We stayed on the campsite and enjoyed it very much. Landlady and staff were very friendly and helpful. You can walk into Tewkesbury across the fields (45 minutes) path a little bit overgrown in places, but a nice walk. The Inn is very nice, food was tasty, good range of beer and ale, not a bad price, faggots good quality and huge, lasagne and ribs were lovely too. Very dog friendly. Toilets behind pub were always clean, shower hot. We will be visiting again. Thank you for a pleasant stay. Jane & Martin (Hampshire)

A very unique pub. Really friendly and carvery had plenty of veg. Everyone seemed to know each other so a good ambience. Not fine dining but reasonably priced. Tables outside and plenty of grassy banks for dogs. We had a real feast and there were lots of campers eating too.
