We were on a coach trip with GB tours staying at warners Holme Lacy, one of our trips out was to Tewksbury, where we only stayed for less than 2 hours not long enough really. We were told by the driver that we were booked in for a cream tea at the Abbey tea rooms which had opened specially for us. What a fabulous place. On arriving we couldn’t stop looking at the fantastic collection of memorabilia. Brought back so many memories. Stopping reminiscing long enough to look at the menu we chose sandwiches and a toasted melt. They arrived quickly and everything was delicious and very generous portions at a more than reasonable price. We met and chatted with the owners who were super friendly.
