We had a family lunch today for our grandson who was celebrating his 18th birthday . Salerno made it special by bringing his dessert out on a huge plate with happy birthday written on it and a candle . Turned the lights down low and got the whole restaurant singing happy birthday to him . They did this without us asking which was such a lovely thin to do .Our food was , as always excellent . The staff were polite , very knowledgeable, especially about the wine , and very efficient doing their job.Salerno is local to us and a firm favourite restaurant for our family . Thank you for making our grandsons day so special . Look forward to our next visit .

We had really lovely meal here, the seafood linguine were delicious and generous portion too, plenty of mussels and prawns. We were too dull to have a dessert but will come back for the tiramisu! Thank

The mains (we had 2 different risottos) were really lovely. Service was good. Would definitely recommend.Toilets a bit chilly and tatty. (Wobbly seat and no loo roll)

Was disappointed that a 10% service charge was added. The menu stated that a service charge would be added for tables of 6+, but there were only 4 of us. What was the service charge for?Should not apply an automatic service charge, it should be up to the customer whether they want to leave a tip or not. It's not like there was anything particularly special about the service.
Terrific puddings, and my best ever coffee( sambuca added)!

Very nice restaurant serving lovely food in good time, enjoyed in pleasant surroundings. Sadly, it has missed out on 5 stars due to an orange juice with lemonade being overpriced at £6.20. The lemonade was served separately in a small bottle, and although this was mentioned when paying, there was no comment or apology made.

I don't know what these people were expecting but the food was excellent and not your usual italian pasta, pizza combination. As far as I am concerned I will go back again and again it is so good. If you don't believe me I suggest you look at Trip Advisor.
