slow service, and panini was left to long in the toaster.

I was impressed by the great service and the delicious food. The best part was that I could relax and enjoy a cup of coffee with my friends.

Staff were friendly. I had a really nice cheese stone and a cup of tea and then had a look around the shop and bought a really cute note book.

A delightful gift shop and coffee shop in one. Wonderful gifts were found followed by amazing food in a lovely garden area with activities for children while eating. Scones were some of the best I've tasted. Thoroughly enjoyed our

A lovely shop to browse through before you make your way into the cafe which has indoor and outdoor seating. I had a lovely chocolate brownie and tea. I have chronic pain and they have padded bench seating which was more comfy to sit on.

The shop has been recently bought by Aaron Banks, hence renamed, with Foxhills Jewellers now moved into it. Noticeably less gifts now, and increased cafe seating. Unfortunately, the spacing of the tables in the main dining area is illogical and disorganised, mimicking an obstacle course as its very difficult to walk between them, especially when carrying a tray. The scones are a bit dry and crumbly, but otherwise fairly average fayre. Staff are generally very good, although the young 'Saturday' lad still seems very disorganised. I slightly fear the effect of Summer queues. The frustrating, long-drawn out, messy and chaotic changes to the High St are not welcomed locally and detract from the general ambience.

Lovely cafe, love the cosiness and atmosphere.

Their fruit scones are the best I've ever had, so we visit every time we go to Thornbury!Staff can be variable - the younger staff are friendly, happy, fast and know that they're doing. The older till staff are grumpier, easily confused and flustered, slower, need help to work out what to do and openly resent the excellent service the younger staff provide when they have to step in to help as the queue grows and grows, which (especially when considering the prices) certainly takes the shine off the experience.

Love this shop! Great quality products, lots of choice and a wonderful cafe as well. Fabulous owner and host as well. Best place on the High Street in my opinion :-)

£6.50 for a scone with literally the meanest toppings on and dirty great ball of inedible, undressed, unseasoned lettuce. Wrong cake delivered and my friends quiche was soggy and flavourless. The wasps here were unbearable, and we were told they couldn't do much a abut them ... yes you could, you could have closed the doors. My friend was so distressed she left and I was left alone to finish my lunch. Somewhat horrible experience.

Always was a lovely venue in the past and it was still great to sit in the big townhouse garden. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing and my little individual broccoli and red pepper quiche was soft and soggy with the red pepper nowhere to be seen, apart from presumably giving it the unappetising blood colour. £6.50 for that, with a spoonful of coleslaw and a bit of fancy lettuce................ My friend had a dipping platter which looked like a platter from the 60s with about as much imagination. Won't be bothering to go back, no wonder it was badly patronised, (even though I do have to say it was the hottest day) It used to be difficult to get a seat - can't think this is ever the case now.So disappointing
