I came here with my partner for our aniversary, and while it isn’t the cheapest place for a student my god does it deliver on everything. Especially since I only heard about this place because the owner came axe throwing at my work place.I ate the regular menu and my other half ate the veggie menu and both of us had an amazing time. Second time I’ve visited BAM and was certainly not as good as the first. Pork salad was ok, soup dish was ok, the main bone marrow and flatbread was very good and the panne cotta desert was decent. Add on a beer and a glass of wine and £160 is not worth what you’re getting. Much better places around

A couple of weeks ago, my friend and I had an incredible meal at Black Axe Mangal. We were able to get a walk-in table and sat at the front by the kitchen. The meal (off a prix fixe menu) was much different (in a good way) than what I would normally order and challenged me to try new dishes.
