I had a superb time here last Sunday. There is always a good range of well kept real ales on offer. On this particular occasion Timothy Taylor Landlord and Boltmaker were on as well as a beer from a York brewery. It felt like a mini Yorkshire beer festival. A nice quaint and pleasant little pub, Visited midday during the week so it was nice and quiet.. Some nice beers and ales on tap, Highly recommend the pizzas.. two for one and of very good quality.

Recently, I went there for a birthday meal with my friend, not knowing what to expect from the Steak Night. We were so surprised! It was one of the loveliest meals we had in a long time. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the portion was just right, one drink included as well. Not to mention that the service was just the best and made our midweek evening really special.
