It's 3 pm and already half the restaurant is closed for cleaning. In the area that remains open there are several dirty tables that have been waiting to be cleared for at least 30 minutes, even though the restaurant is only moderately busy. I have visited this cafe at least 30 times over the last three years or so, yet none of the staff show the slightest hint of recognition, let alone greet me with a smile and a word of welcome. Lovely staff and a great selection of cakes and pastry items for the afternoon tea Free refills of coffee and a soft drink included in the £20 price via wowcher or grouon. Although the walk up price was just £25 Some chairs need a re cover, but don't let that put you off. Will be back

Visited with my son (adult) for cappuccinos and cake - there was a good selection to chose from. I had cheesecake and my son had black forest gateau - all was super tasty. Staff friendly too. Much enjoyed.
