Due to bad experiences elsewhere in tne past.. I wasn't expecting much, especially at 6pm on mother's day.. However we were totally surprised.The food and service were amazing . They had a set menu complete with a glass of pink prosceco but it all worked. There was even live music which added to the atmosphere. The food arrived piping hot . Three of us came for lunch yesterday. My brother and I ordered the same starter, only one was brought out. He had to go and ask for his, which turned up 10 minutes later. It was supposed to be served with bread, which again we had to ask for. All of the mains did come out at the same time, however it took an age to produce a chocolate brownie. The food was fine, the service abysmal. Had a service charge been added to the bill we would not have paid it.
