Nice Food and very friendly and courteous waiter. Unfortunately, the fish for the fish and chips was empty, but the rest of the food was delicious.

Very good food and service. Friendly staff and fresh food. It is nice to allow pets in but some people are uncomfortable around dogs.

I came here as a solo American traveler. It was absolutely wonderful. The staff were so welcoming and lovely, and I loved the intimate local environment. The roast & sticky toffee pudding were absolutely delicious. They even gave me a Christmas gift on my way out. I couldn’t recommend Prince of Whales more highly for an authentic Sunday Roast.

This is a typical friendly local pub with pub food. The bar staff were really pleasant and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We had a great sausage and mash meal and a nice bottle of wine. Good atmosphere. Would definitely go again and would definitely recommend

My husband and I head over right from the airport to try our first ever Sunday roast and safe to say, we were blown away! The whole atmosphere of the pub was so homely and friendly, we were welcomed right away by Tom and Margaret, and Werner who took our orders was so kind as well. We were just so touched by their hospitality and kindness and it has made us love London instantly. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back again. Thank you!

My birthday party was nothing but spotless. Tom, Margareth and the team made it so special. The decoration was impeccable, the food was delicious and a generous portion. The Prince of Wales is a well knonw pub by me and my family, as we have been celebrating birthdays with them since 2021, but this year I was left speechless with everything. Thank you Tom, Margareth and the team, for being so professional and help me to have such a successulf birthday party that my guests are still talking about. I recommend the place, the food, the private area and the service. Till next year

Visited Imperial war museum and wanted a nearby lunch, so booked for 5, seeing good reviews on here. It’s a local pub but we were welcomed. It’s also a sporty pub with football on when we arrived, which we didn’t mind. But it is there. Once the match had finished they turned the commentary off and put music on. Service was quick and good. Food was amazing. A big plate for each of us. Menu is not very extensive but caters a good selection of pub grub, including a vegan option, which one of our party had. Food came out piping hot and everyone ate well and enjoyed it. Recommended!
