We had our wedding reception upstairs at the Rose and Crown and it was fantastic. Before the day, we worked with Josie and Ros to make sure everything was organised - access early to the room to add some decoration, playlists, wine lists, food choices etc, and I cannot speak highly enough of either of them as to how collaborative they were and how comfortable they made us feel with it. Sat outside for brunch, which is a nice spot to watch things going on in Clapham. It was pretty busy outside, and there was a wedding reception too, so a good atmosphere. Service was a bit pedestrian but probably understandably so. We had a few things from the brunch menu (breakfast sandwich, runny eggs with posh soldiers, beef cheeks etc). The food was amazing - we ate from the brunch menu - and the service incredible too. Within 2 minutes of sitting down we were greeted and given menus. All the staff were welcoming and friendly, and genuinely interested in how we were. It was so lovely to sit outside and enjoy our meal without being surrounded by cigarette smoke too. We will definitely be returning!
