This is a typical friendly local pub with pub food. The bar staff were really pleasant and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We had a great sausage and mash meal and a nice bottle of wine. Good atmosphere. Would definitely go again and would definitely recommend
My husband and I head over right from the airport to try our first ever Sunday roast and safe to say, we were blown away! The whole atmosphere of the pub was so homely and friendly, we were welcomed right away by Tom and Margaret, and Werner who took our orders was so kind as well. We were just so touched by their hospitality and kindness and it has made us love London instantly. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back again. Thank you!

I came here as a solo American traveler. It was absolutely wonderful. The staff were so welcoming and lovely, and I loved the intimate local environment. The roast & sticky toffee pudding were absolutely delicious. They even gave me a Christmas gift on my way out. I couldn’t recommend Prince of Whales more highly for an authentic Sunday Roast.
