A nice busy comfortable pub. Good food and beer. Great heated under cover garden. Yummy burgers and chips with polite efficient staff.

Absolutely love their roasts, with the best gravy. Good place for drinks with a mixture of seating and a garden with heaters. Staff are all lovely and always make me laugh.

One of the best pubs in London. Friendly staff, delicious food, great selection of ales, the best General Manager in the area, I do not have words to discribe this pub. Staff always going an extra mile to make you feel like at home! Definetly I will come back with my partner soon!! Well done Marcus, amazing pub I am impress!

I’ve been doing the pub quiz here for 7 years. The fact I hardly ever win these days yet nonetheless turn up every week (almost) with fail despite living 12 miles away must either mean that I am a growing increasingly stupid or that it is a wonderful establishment. I shall leave you to judge which it is, though these conclusions may not be mutually exclusive.

Tasty Sunday roast, the best I’ve had in the East Putney/Wandsworth area.We were really disappointed with our dessert though. Please don’t call something a ‘crumble’ when it’s just scatterings of flaky muesli on cooked fruit. We also had to wait almost an hour for the desert to arrive.

Beautiful decor, fantastic food and friendly staff. Short walk from Wandsworth town station but well worth it, will definitely be our new local.

Alex is such a great manager in this pub. A review like this simply doesn’t do the job and the genius manager justice - there aren’t enough words! We love the Queen Adelaide and it’s fantastic vibes and food and drinks. Such a great atmosphere - will be telling everyone who I encounter for the rest of my life how good this gaff is. Will recommend to friends firstly! Everyone visit when you are in town. It’s been a pleasure, Jackson Four out.

Good food, cheery staff, friendly vibe, and cosy decor. However, that’s most London pubs, let’s be honest. (It also has loads of dogs called things like Jack and Toby.) The thing that ACTUALLY keeps me coming back is quizmaster Tom, who is the world’s finest quizmaster and certainly top five in the world’s finest moustache growers. The Wednesday quiz is probably the highlight of my week, depending on whether I’m doing anything else that week. Just don’t go in the women’s toilets, it’s like the Somme in there.

We came here for a first date but realising the pub quiz was on. We decided to take part and it was one of the best pub quiz’s we have been to! We also decided to order food and oh my god….the sausage rolls are to die for!! They are like mini beef wellingtons! We also had the Camembert which was top notch! This pub is great for dogs, it has such a cozy atmosphere and I would 100% reccomend it for a first date, dinner with Friends and family. I can’t wait to come back again, let’s hope there’s a 2nd date ;)

Visited on a busy quiz night, service was superb, they brought in a table from outside to accommodate us, food was excellent, the burger was proper meat and tasted great! Nothing seemed a problem and they were happy to help! Will be back, but make sure you book on quiz night

Food menu was standard pub food. Disappointed with my chicken, bacon and leek pie served on mash. Pie was covered in pastry top and bottom and had very little chicken in it and hardly any sauce. It did come with gravy though. Pastry on chicken pie was a bit under cooked. I did ordered cauliflower cheese but it came in a runny white sauce and you could not taste any cheese. Chicken and liver parfait was the only highlight!! Was bloated at the end of the evening!

Much improved in the last year. Sunday roasts are outstanding and their burger is one of the best. Plus excellent condition of the beers guaranteeing a perfect lunch or
